Eyelid skin tags

Before
After

Skin tags are a very common complaint in dermatology. They are usually harmless, benign lesions but may be a nuisance if they get caught on clothing, jewelry, or hair trimmers. They also can be cosmetically bothersome to patients, particularly when they are present in visible areas such as on the eyelids. At OC MedDerm, our dermatologists are well trained to remove such bothersome lesions in a sterile, pain-free way with minimal scarring. Surgical excisions around the eyelids must be performed carefully to prevent any cosmetic or functional impairments of the eyelids. At OC MedDerm, our dermatologists are well trained to perform excisions around sensitive areas such as the eyelids. After performing any excision of a pigmented lesion, our dermatologists will send the sample to be microscopically analyzed to confirm the diagnosis.
