At OC MedDerm, you can see us for all kinds of ‘lumps and bumps’ on the skin. Whether you’re concerned about the diagnosis or do not like the cosmetic appearance, our dermatologists are able to help. There is a long list of lesions that can be categorized as ‘lumps and bumps’, therefore, we split them up under two categories: cosmetic or medical.
Medical lumps and bumps are typically symptomatic or concerning for potential cancer. For such a case you can see us for a medical visit to be diagnosed and informed about treatment options. We are contracted with nearly all PPO insurances as well as Medicare.
Cosmetic lumps and bumps are those that are typically asymptomatic but are aesthetically bothersome to you. You can see us for a complimentary consultation where we will discuss risk, benefits, and alternative options for removal.
